The two new Manfrotto Aviator drone bags are designed specifically to carry the DJI Mavic Pro Platinum, with a design and range of features to suit active drone users. Also suitable for carrying CSCs, the bags should prove useful for photographers in many disciplines.
Let’s take a closer look at the two bags individually.
Manfrotto Aviator Hover-25 backpack
The Manfrotto Aviator Hover-25 has dedicated pockets for a DJI Mavic and DJI Osmo, and these can be accessed quickly without needing to put the bag down.
Designed to protect delicate equipment, the Hover-25 features an insulated battery pouch and includes the Manfrotto Protection System which has been engineered to protect control joysticks and moving parts of gimbal stabilisers.
It features a dedicated compartment for an iPad, and separate compartments for organising extra accessories. It’s also made from highly resistant and breathable material, for extended outdoor use.

Manfrotto Aviator M1 Sling
For a more compact and versatile carrying solution, Manfrotto has also revealed the Aviator M1 Sling, which can be worn and carried as a sling, waist pack or pouch in accordance with the user’s preference.
Constructed from weather-resistant fabric, the M1 Sling also comes packing a DuoFace cover for when the weather gets really nasty. The Manfrotto Protection System is also present and correct.
Manfrotto hasn’t forgotten travel safety, and the M1 Sling’s theft-prevention zip sliders and concealed pockets will prove invaluable in protecting precious gear from sticky fingers.
